This scheme is well laid out set up by Bloffin, to basically supply A.G.O and manage fuel requirements in the consumer’s premises, exclusively to serve the customer’s needs. Since fuel supply and management is our area of specialization, we believe that managing our customer’s fuel needs on their behalf will allow them to focus more effectively on their core business.
A minimum stock level of 60 – 70% is to be maintained at all times if given the opportunity, so as to reduce burden of fuelling to your branches. To achieve this, at least one truck will be supplied regularly. Our fleet includes trucks which can lift between 14,000, 15,000, 33,000, and 45,000 litres at a time. Delivery intervals would be determined both by the capacity utilization and the level of inventory carried at any given point in time. Stock levels measured each morning and evening by your Fuel Officer is the basic inputs for determining this.
QUALITY
Nationwide, Bloffin is synonymous with quality products and services. The quality of our diesel adheres to and usually surpasses the standards of our industry regulator, The Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR), because we also observe required standards. Here are the DPR specifications:
SPECIFICATIONS FOR DIESEL FUEL
Our Quality Assurance Labs are tasked with the responsibility of confirming the quality of our products before they are pumped into our storage tanks and conducting tests every morning and evening to ensure that the quality retains its integrity and is in line with DPR standard. The delivery notes on dispatched products also record the quality of the product, so that on arrival at your various branches, you will know what the quality is supposed to be.
DELIVERY
Bloffin makes use of delivery trucks which must be checked and confirmed to be safe and in excellent working condition before they are allowed to load. They are also equipped with On-Board Computer (OBC) systems which allow us to monitor the driver’s location at every point in time.
TROUBLE-SHOOTING
Now, we know that Nigeria is a very volatile environment, and the best plans and most perfect systems do not always materialize into actuality. This is why we have procedures designed to help us achieve our goals even when things don’t go the way we design them to. So:
– Product Scarcity: Once in a while, it does happen that diesel is scarce. For this situation, we have millions of litres of security stock in various depots, which we supply to the customers with which we have supply contracts. To ensure that we are able to keep our obligation to our customers, our security stock is not permitted for supply to non-contractual customers, except in extraneous cases.
– Quality Issues: If, despite our quality measures, the diesel is found to be contaminated on arrival at your site, we immediately recall the truck and send a replacement within 6 – 18 hours, depending on time of day the matter occurs.
– Delay in supply: Due to the volume of business we transact, we have trucks in transit at various times. If for any reason, the particular truck dispatched to you is delayed, we will divert another to your site.
Please note that the above situations are not the norm, but only arrangements which we have in place to help us be prepared for the unexpected and respond effectively.
PRICING
The price for AGO will be negotiated and agreed upon between our two organizations, and agreed prices aid effective planning and budgeting. Supplies continue uninterrupted during the negotiation period.
PAYMENT TERMS
Payment is immediate, but also determined based on agreement from the date of invoice. The said invoice(s) would be made available immediately, against next supply.
